A B S T R A C T Novel (ergolinyl)-N',N'-diethylurea derivatives of the general formula I Image (I) (in which R"' represents C2-C6-alkyl or -(CH2)n-CH=CH2, -(CH2)n-C?CH, -(CH2)n-COOR', -(CH2)n-CN or Image , n representing 1 or 2, m representing 0 or 1 and R' representing C1-C6-alkyl, Image represents a CC-single or CC-double bond and the urea group in the 8-position is in the .alpha.- or .beta.-position) and salts there- of and a process for the manufacture of these compounds. The (ergolinyl)-N,N'-diethylurea derivatives and their salts have an excellent dopaminergic activity and are therefore suitable, for example, for the inhibition of lactation and for the treatment of Parkinsonism; the novel compounds may accordingly be made up into pharmaceutical preparations with suitable carriers.
