An ergonomic operator's chair relates to chairs for special purposes, and more particularly, to computer operator's chair which is ergonomically designed to increase the capacity for work, comfort and keeping an operator in good health condition. The chair includes a seat, a backrest and a pedestal. The chair is also equipped with a pair of support elements symmetrically positioned on each side of the seat and fixedly attached onto the backrest. The support elements are made in the circular arc form and installed vertically on the pedestal having possibility to move along the pedestal relative to the center of the above circle up to the preset angle. The seat is pivotally coupled to each support element and is constantly kept in a horizontal position while both support elements are moved along the pedestal. The chair has a driving gear to move the support elements along the pedestal and to fix them in the preset position. It may be equipped with an automatic system, which makes it possible to automatically change the turning angle of the support elements.
