ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to an erosion control device, consisting of a plurality of concrete nodules connected by flexible cord to form a mat which conforms to the topography of underlying soil and fabric tied at intervals with cord to the undersurface of the mat, glued to the nodules at opposed ends of the mat and extending from at least one end of the mat for a distance of approximately one third of a meter.
