ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A high-voltage transformer has a secondary wind- ing connectable to a load and having a measuring series impedance for producing a small voltage drop proportional to the load current. An error-compensating amplifier has an input circuit connected across the measuring impedance and an output connected in series with the secondary wind- ing to compensate for errors introduced by the load. -1-
