ABSTRACT "Error-protected data transmission device and communica- tion network." In a data transmission device which comprises at least one transmitting station and at least one re- ceiving station the same message is transmitted with an integer number of copies. This number may vary from one message to another. The number "n" is predetermined by the transmitting station as a function of inter alia the reliability of the network and the functional impor- tance of the message; thus, the same sequencing of the general events is presented to all stations without any acknowledge process, being required.
