An escalator device, wherein an endless chain (36) is passed around an upper sprocket wheel (34) installed on an upper layer floor (32) and a lower sprocket wheel (42) installed on a lower layer floor (31), a plurality of treads (37) are connected to the chain (36), and a riser (38) is connected angularly displaceable to one end part of the tread (37) on a lower layer floor (31) side and disposed in a transfer area (S5) at a projecting position suspended downward and folded in the lower circulating area (S2) so that it comes in parallel generally with the tread, whereby the escalator device (30) can be reduced in thickness, a link means (80) is installed between each tread (37) and the riser (38), a guide member (100) is installed near the upper end part of the escalator device (30), and the riser (38) is moved to the lower circulating area (S2) in the state of being folded because the link means (80) is displaced by the guide of the guide member.
L'invention concerne un escalier mécanique, dans lequel une chaîne sans fin (36) passe autour d'une roue dentée supérieure (34) montée sur un étage (32) de niveau supérieur et d'une roue dentée inférieure (42) montée sur un étage (31) de niveau inférieur; une pluralité de marches (37) est connectée à la chaîne (36); et une contremarche (38), reliée mobile angulairement à une partie extrémité de la marche (37) sur un côté de l'étage (31) de niveau inférieur, est disposée dans une zone de transfert (S5) dans une position saillante suspendue vers le bas et pliée dans la zone de circulation inférieure (S2) de manière à être généralement parallèle à la marche, ce qui permet de réduire l'épaisseur de l'escalier mécanique (30). Un organe de liaison (80) est monté entre chaque marche (37) et la contremarche (38), un élément guide (100) est monté à proximité de la partie extrémité supérieure de l'escalier mécanique (30), et la contremarche (38) est déplacée vers la zone de circulation (S2) inférieure à l'état plié car l'organe de liaison (80) est déplacé par le guide de l'élément guide.
