The novel glycidyl ether addition products are obtained by esterification of (1) oxalkylated primary fatty amines and (2) addition products of polyether block polymers and glycidyl ethers with (3) dicarboxylic acids. They are advantageously used for the splitting of crude oil emul- sions and, as quaternized products, are also good corro- sion inhibitors.
