The invention relates, in particular, to ethylene and butadiene copolymers and to a catalytic system which can be used for the synthesis of said copolymers. The inventive copolymers comprise a molar ratio of units derived from butatdiene which is greater than or equal to 8 %, said units comprising trans-1,2 cyclohexane chain formations, and have an average molecular mass Mn which is greater than or equal to 40 000 g/mol. According to the invention, the catalytic system consists of (i) an organometallic complex which is represented by either formula <U>A</U> or <U>B</U>, wherein: Ln represents a lanthanide and X represents a halogen. In formula <U>A</U>, two ligand molecules Cp¿1? and Cp¿2, ?which are each formed by a fluorenyl group, are linked to Ln. In formula <U>B</U>, a ligand molecule is linked to Ln, said molecule being formed by two fluorenyl groups Cp¿1? and Cp¿2 ?which are interconnected by a bridge P having formula MR¿2?, wherein M is an element from column IVA and R is an alkyl with between 1 and 20 carbon atoms. The catalytic system also consists of (ii) a co-catalyst belonging to the group comprising a magnesium alkyl, a lithium alkyl, an aluminium alkyl, a Grignard reagent or a mixture of said components. Said catalytic system is such that the molar ratio (co-catalyst/organometallic complex) lies between 1 and 8.
La présente invention concerne notamment des copolymères d'éthylène et de butadiène et un système catalytique utilisable pour la synthèse de ces copolymères. Les copolymères selon l'invention comprennent un taux molaire d'unités issues du butadiène >= 8 %, lesdites unités comprenant des enchaînements trans-1,2 cyclohexane, et ils présentent une masse moléculaire moyenne en nombre Mn >= 40 000 g/mol. Un système catalytique selon l'invention comprend: (i) un complexe organométallique représenté par l'une des formules suivantes A ou B: où Ln représente un lanthanide et X un halogène, où dans la formule A, sont reliées à Ln deux molécules de ligands Cp1 et Cp2 constituées chacune d'un groupe fluorényle, où dans la formule B, est reliée à Ln une molécule de ligand, constituée de deux groupes fluorényle Cp1 et Cp2 reliés entre eux par un pont P de formule MR2, où M est un élément de la colonne IVA et R un alkyle de 1 à 20 atomes de carbone, et (ii) un co-catalyseur appartenant au groupe constitué par un alkyl magnésium, un alkyl lithium, un alkyl aluminium, un réactif de Grignard, ou constitué d'un mélange de ces constituants, et ce système catalytique est tel que le rapport molaire (co- catalyseur/ complexe organométallique) appartient à un domaine allant de 1 à 8.
