ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Improved mill release properties and green strength of elastomeric copolymers derived from ethylene, alkyl acrylated or vinyl esters of carboxylic acids, and .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acids, and option- ally containing segments derived from carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide or acrylonitrile, is achieved by including in such copolymers a small quantity of certain chromium (III) compounds.
