A process to control the heat transfer coefficient in slurry olefin polymerization processes comprising shocking the polymerization reactor is provided. This shock comprises quickly decreasing and then restoring to normal operating conditions, the higher alpha-olefin comonomer to ethylene monomer weight feed ratio.
Méthode pour contrôler le coefficient de transfert thermique dans des procédés de polymérisation d'oléfines en suspension, par une variation brusque dans le réacteur de polymérisation. Cette variation consiste à baisser rapidement, puis à rétablir dans des conditions de fonctionnement normales, le rapport poids de comonomère d'alpha-oléfine supérieure/poids de monomère éthylénique de l'alimentation.
