"Ethylene polymers having a linear structure and method for preparing" Abstract of the disclosure Particular ethylene polymers are described having a linear structure, that is a structure which is essentially devoid of lengthy branching offs and having a density less than 0.9450 g/cm.3. They are crystalline ethylene copolymers with at least another alpha olefin having a density com- prised between 0.9150 and 0.9450 g/cm3, in which the con- tents of comonomer varies from 1 molar % to 7 molar %. Such copolymers are further characterized by a melting point comprised between 115°C and 130°C and an X-ray crystalli- nity variable between 39% and 55% as a function of the quantity of comonomer, and a Melt Flow Index (according to the ASTM D-1238 test method) comprised between 0.1 and 50 g/10 min.
