An evacuated panel (2) is described, which enables the thermal insulation of a cylindrical body (1), provided with two substantially rectangular main faces and formed of a flexible envelope (4) made of one or more barrier sheets, containing a discontinuous or porous, inorganic or polymeric filling material (3). The panel has a thikness such that the ratio between this thickness and the minimum bending radius of the lateral wall of said cylindrical body is small enough so as to enable the rolling of the panel without compromising the integrity thereof, and length such that it allows at least two rollings around the body (1).
L'invention concerne un panneau (2) sous vide d'isolation thermique d'un corps cylindrique (1), pourvu de deux surfaces principales sensiblement rectangulaires et formé d'une enveloppe flexible (4) faite d'une ou de plusieurs feuilles de protection, contenant une matière (3) de remplissage discontinue ou poreuse, inorganique ou polymérique. L'épaisseur du panneau permet d'obtenir un rapport assez faible entre cette épaisseur et le rayon de flexion minimum de la paroi latérale dudit corps cylindrique de façon à pouvoir enrouler le panneau sans compromettre l'intégrité de ce dernier, et sa longueur permet d'effectuer au moins deux enroulements autour du corps (1).
