The invention relates to a single or multi-layered product containing .alpha.- olefin-vinylalcohol-copolymers and at least one .alpha.-olefin-vinylacetate- copolymer, characterized in that the .alpha.-olefin-vinylacetate-copolymer contains 35 99.99 wt. % vinylacetate repeating units having good flexibility enabling them to be processed to form films or other thin-walled articles which are transparent after they have been drawn or deep-drawn. The invention also relates to a method for the production and use thereof as packaging films.

L'invention concerne un produit à une ou plusieurs couches, contenant des copolymères .alpha.-oléfine/alcool vinylique et au moins un copolymère .alpha.-oléfine/acétate vinylique. Le produit selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le copolymère .alpha.-oléfine/acétate vinylique contient de 35 à 99,99 % en poids d'unités récurrentes d'acétate vinylique qui présentent une bonne souplesse autorisant le façonnage en films ou en d'autres produits à paroi mince qui sont transparents après étirage ou formage profond. L'invention concerne également un procédé pour la production de ce produit et son utilisation en tant que film d'emballage.
