The present invention is directed to ex situ phosphorus-activated crystalline porous silicates such as layered silicates and microporous silicates, processes for said ex situ phosphorus activation, catalyst compositions containing said ex situ phosphorus-activated crystalline porous silicates, and catalyst additives containing said phosphorus-activated crystalline porous silicates. The quintessence of the invention is that the crystalline porous silicate is ex situ activated with a phosphorus-containing compound in the solid state. The activation method is universally applicable and is more economical and more environmentally friendly than the known phosphorus activation methods, because the drying step necessary in the prior art methods can be avoided.
Cette invention concerne des silicates poreux cristallins du type silicates en couches ou silicates microporeux activés ex situ par du phosphore, des procédés d'activation ex situ par le phosphore et des additifs catalytiques renfermant lesdits silicates poreux cristallins à activation par le phosphore. Toute la spécificité de cette invention tient au fait que le silicate poreux cristallin est activé in situ au moyen de phosphore à l'état solide. La méthode d'activation est universellement applicable et est plus économique et plus écologique que les méthodes connues d'activation par le phosphore du fait qu'elle rend superflue l'étape de séchage requise avec les méthodes utilisées jusqu'ici.
