The present invention relates to a novel method to determine cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) activity in a bodily fluid sample wherein the sample may contain an inhibitor of CETP activity. The effect of the inhibitor is preserved to provide a more accurate determination of CETP activity in the fluid (figure 1). Kits for the practice of the method are also provided.
La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé permettant de déterminer l'activité de la protéine de transfert des esters de cholestérol (CETP) dans un échantillon de fluide corporel, lequel échantillon peut contenir un inhibiteur de l'activité de CETP. L'effet de l'inhibiteur est conservé de manière à permettre une détermination plus précise de l'activité de CETP dans le fluide (figure 1). Cette invention concerne également des trousses permettant la mise en oeuvre du procédé susmentionné.
