An examination device has a tubular probe (1) with a first, forward end (4) and a second rear end (5). The probe (1) is mounted in a hard piece (2) and a closure (3) is engaged with the second end (5) of the probe (1). A shield (6) is provided on the probe (1) either adjacent the first end (4) or spaced therefrom but forwardly of the hard piece (2) to shield the hard piece (2) against contact with body tissue. The shield (6) is also able to seal against a body orifice.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'examen comportant une sonde tubulaire (1) comprenant une première extrémité aval (4) et une deuxième extrémité amont (5). Ladite sonde (1), montée dans une pièce dure, et qui présente une fermeture (3) au niveau de sa deuxième extrémité (5), comporte par ailleurs une protection (6) contiguë à sa première extrémité (4) ou en étant distante, mais néanmoins placée en aval de la pièce dure (2) pour l'empêcher d'être en contact avec les tissus corporels. La protection (6) peut également servir à obturer un orifice corporel.
