A rotatable connector pin assembly (16) is disposed within an opening (26) in an adapter nose (24), with opposite ends (42,82,96) of the pin portion of the assembly extending outwardly beyond opposite sides of the adapter nose in axially fixed orientations relative thereto, and is used to captively and releasably retain a replaceable excavating tooth (14) point on the nose. The configuration of the opposite pin ends permits the overall pin assembly (16) to remain in the adapter nose during removal of the point and replacement thereof, with the pin being rotatable between a first orientation in which its ends permit removal of a point from the nose, or installation of a point on the nose, and a second orientation in which the opposite pin ends block removal of the point from the adapter nose.
Cette invention concerne un ensemble de clavetage rotatif (16) disposé dans un passage (26) de nez de porte-dent (24). Les extrémités opposées (42,82,96) de la partie clavette de l'ensemble dépassent des bords extérieurs du nez de porte-dent selon des orientations axialement fixes par rapport au nez. Cet ensemble de clavetage assure le maintien à demeure et libérable la pointe (14) d'une dent d'excavation remplaçable sur le nez du porte-dent. De part la configuration des extrémités opposées, l'ensemble clavette (16) reste dans le nez du porte-dent pendant la dépose et le remplacement de la pointe. La clavette peut passer en tournant d'une première orientation dans laquelle il est possible de retirer la pointe du nez du porte-dent, à une seconde orientation dans laquelle les extrémités opposées de la clavette empêchent le retrait de la pointe du nez de porte-dent.
