ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An exercise apparatus consisting of a base with an elongate support extending upwardly from the base. The support has a lower end adjacent the base and an upper end extending upwardly away from the base. A primary lever is provided which has a first end and a second end. A pivotal mounting adjacent the upper end of the support serves as a fulcrum for the primary lever. A slave lever is provided which has a first end and a second end. A pivotal mounting adjacent the lower end of the support serves as a fulcrum for the slave lever. A linkage couples the primary lever and the slave lever such that movement of the primary lever results in movement of the slave lever. A platform is secured to the second end of slave lever such that body weight of a person positioned on the platform increases resistance during movement of the primary lever.
