ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An exercise device capable of simulating skating motion, comprising a flat base strip having a low friction surface, and a pair of end stops mountable on said strip to define therebetween a sliding zone in which a user can perform a side-to-side skating movement between said end stops, each said end stop having an inwardly facing inclined anti-skid surface for bringing the user's feet to a gradual stop at the end of each side-to-side movement.
