ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An exhaust apparatus for a combustion site having an exhaust stack. The exhaust apparatus has a reservoir for air at super atmospheric pressure. Air can be fed to the reservoir and air pressure within the reservoir can be controlled. There is a fan located in the exhaust stack and a duct to feed air from the reservoir to the stack, upstream of the fan. A sensor measures air velocity in the duct. A control receives information from the sensor and controls the fan speed depending on air flow in the duct. - 9 -
