To cause a muffler to efficiently reduce noise. Front side exhaust pipes and rear side exhaust pipes are extended from front cylinders and rear cylinders, respectively, of a V-type water-cooled 4-cylinder engine and collected to a catalyst chamber disposed below a crankcase. The catalyst chamber is connected to an exhaust chamber located rearward thereof in which exhaust gas is expanded. An outlet pipe laterally projects from a lateral surface of a rear end portion of the exhaust chamber and is connected to a front pipe projecting from the lateral surface of the front portion of a muffler. In this way, the front pipe is transversely inserted into the muffler to increase a cross--section ratio, thereby efficiently reducing noise.

Les tuyaux d'échappement du côté avant et arrière sont prolongés par des cylindres avant et arrière, respectivement, pour un moteur en V de quatre cylindres refroidi à l'eau et reliés à une chambre de catalyseur placée sous un vilebrequin. La chambre de catalyseur est reliée à une chambre d'échappement située à l'arrière dans laquelle les gaz d'échappement prennent de l'expansion. Un tuyau de sortie fai saillie latéralement à partir de la surface latérale d'une partie de l'extrémité arrière de la chambre d'échappement et est relié à un tuyau avant qui fait saillie de la surface latérale de la partie avant d'un silencieux. De cette façon, la partie avant est insérée de manière transversale dans le silencieux afin d'augmenter le ratio d ela section transversale, permettant ainsi de réduire efficacement le bruit.
