A method of constructing a hard suitcase including forming a shaped base portion (2) and a shaped lid portion (1) from a plastics material of such characteristic that "the portions retain their intended shape, and attaching to each of said portions the respective zipped portions of a zip fastener arrangement (16) (by a stitching operation involving a securing thread. A further Zip arrangement (25) provided between the Zip arrangement (16) and the lid portion (2) enables increase in the storage volume of the case.
L'invention concerne un procédé de construction d'une valise à coque dure, qui consiste à former une partie de base moulée (2) et une partie de couvercle moulée (1) à partir d'un matériau en plastique dont les caractéristiques sont telles que les parties retiennent leur forme prévue. Le procédé consiste ensuite à fixer à chacune desdites parties la partie fermeture-éclair d'un dispositif à fermeture-éclair (16) (par une opération de couture mettant en oeuvre un fil de fixation. Un autre dispositif à fermeture-éclair (25) ménagé entre le dispositif à fermeture-éclair (16) et la partie de couvercle (1) permet d'augmenter le volume utile de la valise.
