An expandable paint wagon has a translating base structure and a plurality of support members slidably mounted on the translating base structure. The support members are slidable between a contracted position and an expanded position. A linkage connects the support members to each other and to the base structure. A first and a second biased locking pins are mounted on separate support members. The first pin engages the base structure when the support members are in the contracted position and the second pin engages the base structure when the support members are in the expanded condition.
