A foamable vinyl chloride resin composition in which the vinyl chloride resin can be significantly improved in expansion ratio using as a foaming agent not an organic solvent type foaming agent but a heat decomposition type inorganic foaming agent. The composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin, 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of a processability modifier which is a (meth)acrylic ester polymer a 0.1 g/100-ml solution of which in chloroform has a specific viscosity of 0.73 or higher at 30~C, and 0.3 to 2 parts by weight, excluding 2 parts by weight, of a heat decomposition type inorganic foaming agent such as sodium hydrogen carbonate.
L'invention concerne une composition de résine de chlorure de vinyle moussable dans laquelle on peut améliorer sensiblement le taux d'expansion de la résine de chlorure de vinyle en utilisant comme agent de moussage, non pas un agent de moussage du type solvant organique mais un agent de moussage inorganique du type à décomposition thermique. La composition contient 100 parties en poids d'une résine de chlorure de vinyle, 0,5 à 30 parties en poids d'un modificateur de transformabilité lequel est un polymère d'ester méthacrylique dont une solution à 0,1 g/100-ml dans du chloroforme présente une viscosité spécifique de 0,73 ou davantage à 30 ·C, et 0,3 à 2 parties en poids, 2 parties en poids exclues, d'un agent de moussage inorganique du type à décomposition thermique tel que l'hydrogénocarbonate de sodium.
