An expansion anchor designed for the temporary anchorage of panel braces during the erection of buildings has an anchor bolt which is releasable after setting the anchor and a spacer sleeve between the expansion sleeve and head of the bolt and which is located just in the outer part of the hole so as to be easily removable after removal of the bolt.
