An explosion protection apparatus for installation in potentially explosive industrial installations for the purpose of automatically preventing a pressure wave and/or flame breaking through from a potentially explosive installation part to adjacent installation parts, has a sensor for explosion identification, which can be arranged in the potentially explosive installation part or can be connected to it. The sensor is electrically connected to an initiation device (1) which, in its basic state, holds a closing device (3) in its open position via an interlocking device (2) and with the aid of an active magnetic field of an electromagnet (5), and can be operated by sensor signals. The closing device (3) is prestressed such that, after operation of the initiation device (1), it is moved to its closed position. It can be arranged between the installation parts to be protected and the potentially explosive installation part.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de protection contre les explosions pour locaux industriels présentant des dangers d'explosion. Il intervient pour confiner automatiquement à l'intérieur desdits locaux le souffle ou les flammes accompagnant une explosion et les empêcher d'atteindre des locaux adjacents. Le dispositif comprend un détecteur d'explosion pouvant être installé dans le local dangereux ou y être raccordé. Le détecteur est raccordé électriquement à un déclencheur (1) qui, en position normale, maintient ouverte une fermeture (3) au moyen d'un dispositif d'interverrouillage (2) mettant en oeuvre le champ magnétique actif d'un électroaimant (5) et qui peut être déclenché par les signaux provenant du détecteur. La fermeture (3) est précontrainte de telle sorte que, dès l'intervention du déclencheur (1), il se ferme automatiquement. La fermeture peut être aménagée entre les locaux à protéger et le local où il y a danger d'explosion.
