The invention provides a method of loading a flowable explosive into a borehole.The method includes charging a flowable explosive from a bulk supply thereof into a flexible bag. The bag is then taken from the bulk supply to a borehole to be loaded where explosive is discharged from the bag into the borehole. The explosive is discharged from the bag, to load each said borehole, by applying pressure to the bag to squeeze it and to eject explosive therefrom into the borehole. The invention also provides an apparatus and a system for loading a borehole with flowable explosive.
