The present invention is concerned with the use of the sequence CGGCAGGGTCTC, or a variant, homologue or fragment thereof, as a control element for activating transcription of a nucleotide sequence or nucleotide sequences from a promoter. The invention accordingly provides nucleic acid constructs in which at least one heterologous copy of the element is operatively liniked upstream or downstream of a promoter which is itself operatively linked to a nucleotide sequence.
La présente invention concerne la mise en oeuvre d'une séquence CGGCAGGGTCTC, ou une variante, un homologue ou un fragment de ladite séquence, en tant qu'élément de contrôle servant à activer la transcription d'une ou plusieurs séquences nucléotidiques d'un promoteur. L'invention fournit en conséquence des constructions d'acide nucléique dans lesquelles au moins un exemplaire hétérologue dudit élément présente une liaison fonctionnelle en amont ou en aval d'un promoteur, lui-même lié fonctionnellement à une séquence nucléotidique.
