The present invention provides a noninvasive, quantitative test for prognosis determination in cancer patients. The test relies on measurements of the tumor levels of certain messenger RNAs (mRNAs). These mRNA levels are inserted into a polynomial formula (algorithm) that yields a numerical recurrence score, which indicates recurrence risk.
La présente invention porte sur un test quantitatif non invasif pour la détermination de pronostic chez des patients atteints d'un cancer. Le test repose sur des mesures des différents degrés de malignité des tumeurs de certains ARN messagers (ARNm). Ces degrés de malignité des ARNm sont insérés dans une formule polynomiale (algorithme) qui donne un indice de récurrence numérique indiquant le risque de récurrence.
