ABSTRACT A corridor which is intended to span and be suspended between horizontal support members such as girder members of a structure such as a building, ship, etc. so that operators can walk or carry out operations whilst supported on the corridor, the corridor comprising a main unit and a sub-unit connected to the main unit and movable relative thereto to adjust the length of the corridor. This corridor can be easily incorporated and removed from structures and easily transported and housed in confined spaces.
