The present invention provides an extendable rack adapted for retaining one or more cantilever support(s) and also adapted for attaching to a fixed panel via a slide of ball bearing drawer type having an outer and inner cage. The extendable rack comprises an elongated body including, at one side, a longitudinal channel for retaining one or more cantilever support(s); and, at another side, a longitudinal passage, U-shaped in cross section, having a length commensurate with a length of the elongated body, and adapted for locating almost entirely the slide of ball bearing drawer type, so that the latter extends laterally beyond the longitudinal passage. The slide of ball bearing drawer type is attached via the outer cage to the elongated body and via the inner cage to the fixed panel.
