A swivel mounting bracket (10) couples a heavy and cumbersome object to a casing (1) attached to an undersurface. Slide members (2) can attach the mounting bracket (10) to the casing (1) and allow the mounting bracket (10) to be extendable. The mounting bracket (10) comprises a support surface (11), and a bridge (13) integral with the support surface (11). A rotatable plate (32) slides and releasably locks in between the support surface (11) and the bridge (13). The plate (32) attaches to the object to be mounted, and allows the object to rotate with respect to the desk.
