EXTENDAGATE is a mechanical device, which allows for an extension of the original tailgate of a truck by the addition of the EXTENDAGATE which will be built inside of the original tailgate so when it's not in use you can not tell its even in there. This mechanical device will have a handle on the end of it to allow one to manually pull the EXTENDAGATE out or push it back in when finished using it. The purpose of this invention is to extend the length of the gate when its lying down or extend it up when its standing upright in It's locked position. The EXTENDAGATE will be used like a built in trailer but not for anything heavier then would be used on original gate. The EXTENDAGATE will help brace an item in an upright position when extended up and locked in or it will aid in fitting more material into the back of the truck when extended down and out in addition it will also have the ability to tie down the items as well for additional security.
