EXTENDIBLE BOOT ABSTRACT An extendible boot is provided with an upper having a base portion and an extendible portion. The extendible portion comprises a flexible sleeve joined to the base portion by a peripherally extending joint. The sleeve is rollable from its upper end to form an annular roll at the joint to provide an unextended boot. The sleeve is unrollable from the annular roll to a higher position and thereby provides an extended boot. A cuff has a fixed end connected with one of the portions in the vicinity of the joint and is adapted to be folded over the annular roll. A hook and loop fastener or a snap fastener is provided to hold the cuff in its folded position to retain and conceal the annular roll of the sleeve.
