APPLICATION FOR PATENT IN CANADA TITLE OF INVENTION: EXTENSIBLE LOOP HOOK FASTENING DEVICE ABSTRACT This invention pertains primarily to supplementary fastening devices utilizing an elastically extensible loop for fastening the hook of a garment hanger or other hook including device to a clothesline or other generally linear member to which the hook is hooked. These devices may be in the form of a rigid or semi rigid clip in which the effective length of the loop portion of the clip is increasable against the bias of an elastic member and they may also be in the form of a flexible and elastically elongatable loop. In general, an object can be indirectly fast- ened to a linear member by being connected to a hook which is fastened to a linear member by a loop fastening device.
