An outer wall element for buildings has an outer, solar radiation-permeable heat-insulating layer (5) arranged between an inner shell (1) and an outer, solar radiation-permeable shell (2). This heat-insulating layer (5) is adjacent to the outer shell (2) and is separated from an inner heat-insulating layer (3) that belongs to the inner shell (2) by an interface (6) that absorbs the solar radiation from the outer heat-insulating layer (5). At least the inner shell (1) is provided with marginal lining elements (8) that extend at least up to the interface (6) and convey heat to the inner side of the wall. The lining elements may be part of a frame, a metallic panel or the like. In order to protect the lining elements (8) from the high temperatures that result from the use of solar energy in the outer heat-insulating layer (5), the outer heat-insulating layer (5) and the lining elements (8) are mutually separated by poor heat-conductive insulating parts (12) that starting from the lining elements (8) cover the inner heat-insulating layer (3) along a marginal strip (13) located in the interface (6).

Afin de protéger les éléments d'encadrement (8) des hautes températures qui résultent de l'utilisation de l'énergie solaire dans la couche calorifuge extérieure (5), la couche calorifuge extérieure (5) et les éléments d'encadrement (8) sont mutuellement séparés par des pièces isolantes (12) de faible conductivité thermique qui, à partir des éléments d'encadrement (8), recouvrent la couche calorifuge intérieure (3) le long d'une bande marginale (13) de l'interface (6).
