A process for toner preparation includes comprising forming toner particles by mixing an emulsion comprising at least binder resin and a colorant, aggregating the toner particles, and blending external additives with the toner particles in a blender to form a toner, wherein the blender has a blend intensity value of from about 90.5 to about 100.5 W/lb, a specific blend energy value of from about 20.3 to about 35.3 W--h/lb and a blender loading density of from about 0.25 to about 0.55 lb/L.
