This external fixator includes at least: two groups of pins (3, 4) inserted respectively on either side of the fracture, ~ two vices (5, 6) for securing the pins, ~ two vices elements (7, 3) providing for the orientation of the vice in relation to an immobilizing rod (9), one of the jaws of each vice presenting a small bar (50) intended to cooperate with one of the hinge elements. Dispositif de fixation extérieur qui comprend au moins : deux groupes de goupilles (3, 4) insérées respectivement de chaque côté de la fracture, ~ deux étaux (5, 6) servant à retenir les goupilles, ~ deux éléments d'étaux (7, 3) servant à orienter les étaux par rapport à une barre d'immobilisation (9), un des mors de chaque étau comportant une petite tige (50) devant agir de concert avec un des éléments à charnière.
