The invention aims at providing an external preparation for the skin excellent in the effect of protecting the living body from external stimuli, and a polymer material suitable for the preparation. The aim is attained by an external preparation for the skin obtained mixing a copolymer which comprises constituent units derived from monomers of the general formulae (I), (II) and, if necessary, (IV) with the content of units (I) ranging from 5 to 25 wt % based on the total amount of all the constituent units, preferably with the contents of units (I), (II) and (IV) being 5 to 9.8 wt %, 30.2 to 45 wt %, and 50 to 60 wt % respectively, with other arbitrary components. In the formulae, R1 is H or C1-3 alkyl; R2 is C5-12 alkyl having 8 to 21 fluorine atoms; R3 is H or C1-3 alkyl; R4 is optionally hydroxylated C2-4 alkylene; R5 is H, a C1-20 aromatic group, a C1-20 aliphatic hydrocarbon group, or C1-20 acyl; and n is 4 to 50.
La présente invention concerne, d'une part une préparation externe pour la peau convenant particulièrement pour la protection du corps vivant contre les agressions externes, et d'autre part un polymère utilisable pour la préparation. L'élaboration de cette préparation externe pour la peau implique de mélanger à d'autres composants pris arbitrairement des unités constitutives de l'invention. Ces unités dérivent de monomères représentés par les formules générales (I), (II), et éventuellement (IV). Les unités (I) représentent de 5 % à 25 % de la masse de l'ensemble des unités constitutives. De préférence, les unités (I), (II) et (IV) représentent, par rapport à la masse globale, composants arbitraires compris, de 5 % à 9,8 % pour l'unité (I), de 30,2 % à 45 % pour l'unité (II), et de 50 % à 60 % pour l'unité (IV). Dans les formules, R?1¿ est H ou C¿1?-C¿3? alkyle, R?2¿ est C¿5?-C¿12? alkyle portant 8 à 21 atomes de fluor, R?3¿ est H ou C¿1?-C¿3? alkyle, R?4¿ est C¿2?-C¿4? alkylène éventuellement hydroxylé, R?5¿ est H, groupe aromatique en C¿1?-C¿20?, groupe hydrocarbure aliphatique en C¿1?-C¿20?, ou C¿1?-C¿20? acyle, n valant de 4 à 50.
