A drive system for an extruding apparatus. A piston (40) is mounted for reciprocal movement within a cylinder and moves between a power stroke wherein fluid is extruded from the cylinder and a return stroke wherein fluid is allowed to enter the cylinder. The piston (40) is moved by a throw (44) mounted to a crank (52). The axis of the crank (51) is offset from the piston axis (42). The throw (44) is circular and the direction of the force exerted on the pistons (40) by the throw (44) during a portion of the power stroke is parallel to the pistons, axis (42) thereby to avoid sidewise and unequal loading on either one of the pistons (40). The extruding apparatus may take the form of one of an engine fuel injector, an extruding pump for cleaning pipelines and the like, a hydraulic vehicle or lifting jack or a water expelling device.
L'invention concerne un système d'entraînement pour un appareil de refoulement. Un piston (40) est monté en vue de son déplacement alternatif dans un cylindre, et se déplace entre une course motrice dans laquelle le fluide est refoulé du cylindre, et une course de retour, où le fluide est admis dans le cylindre. Le piston (40) est déplacé par un maneton (44) fixé sur une manivelle (52). L'axe de cette dernière est décalé par rapport à l'axe du piston (42). Le maneton (44) est circulaire et la force appliquée sur les pistons (40) par le maneton (44) pendant une partie de la course motrice est parallèle à l'axe des pistons (42). Cela permet d'éviter toute application de contraintes latérales et déséquilibrées sur l'un des pistons (40). Ledit appareil peut avoir la forme d'un injecteur de carburant d'un moteur, d'une pompe à refoulement pour nettoyer des canalisations et similaires, d'un véhicule hydraulique ou d'un vérin de levage ou encore d'un dispositif à eau sous pression.
