A B S T R A C T * * * * * * * * A press or extruding device for pasty or semi-liquid food or other edible mixtures, which can extrude two different components, one being in the form of straitions along the a length of the other, comprises a barrel along which a piston can be forced towards an outlet from the barrel. The outlet includes a tubular portion which extends part- way back up the barrel and which has an opening where it terminates through which the said other component passes and at least one additional opening adjacent the effective lower end of the barrel through which the said one component passes. Preferably a bowl-shaped cap is provided for attachment to the end of the barrel and the tube is provided in that cap and terminates at about the end of the barrel. The cap then defines an extra reservoir for the said one component.
