A squeezable tube-shaped plastic container (10, 100) having a one-piece construction formed by extrusion blow-molding techniques. The container (10, 100) has a retractable end wall (26, 126), which is positionable into an outwardly projecting position and an inverted position. The end wall (26, 126), as blown, is in the outwardly projecting position and is thereafter inverted so that a tamper indicating covering (28, 128) can be attached to the end (14, 114) of the container (10, 100) thereby sealing the end wall (26, 126). The inverted end wall (26, 126) permits the container (10, 100) to be free standing on the standing ring (20, 120). In use, the flexible sidewall (12, 112) of the container (10, 100) is squeezed to snap the end wall (26, 126) from the inverted position to an outwardly projecting position to enable ready access to a dispensing opening (32, 132) on the end wall (26, 126). An efficient and cost effective method for forming the container (10, 100) and an intermediate article (44) formed during the method are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un conteneur (10, 100) plastique tubulaire, souple, monopièce, fabriqué au moyen de techniques de moulage par extrusion-soufflage. Ledit conteneur (10, 100) possède une paroi d'about (26, 126) rétractable, qui peut être positionnée dans une position saillante vers l'extérieur et une position inversée. La paroi d'about (26, 126), étant soufflée, est dans la position saillante vers l'extérieur et est par conséquent inversée de manière qu'un couvercle indicateur d'effraction (28, 128) peut être fixé à l'extrémité (14, 114) du conteneur (10, 100) scellant ainsi la paroi d'about (26, 126). La paroi d'about (26, 126) inversée permet au conteneur (10, 100) de tenir de façon autonome sur l'anneau fixe (20, 120). Lors de l'utilisation, la paroi latérale souple (12, 112) du conteneur (10, 100) est pressée de manière à faire passer rapidement la paroi d'about (26, 126) de la position inversée à une position saillante vers l'extérieur de façon à permettre un accès aisé à un orifice (32, 132) de distribution sur la paroi d'about (26, 126). Ladite invention concerne également un procédé rentable et efficace de fabrication du conteneur (10, 100) et un article (44) intermédiaire fabriqué pendant le procédé.
