ABSTRACT An extrusion die for making flat products The invention relates to an extrusion die for making flat products. This extrusion die comprises in the downstream direction: - at least one distribution bore (6) followed by a distribution chamber (7) for the dough to be extruded, said bore extending perpendicularly to the axis of the central bore (2) and said distribution chamber having a substantially rectangular cross-section, - a counter-pressure plate (8) drilled with parallel bores (9) and having a rectangular cross-section corresponding to that of the distribution chamber, - a chamber (10) for recombining the strands which has a frustopyramidal profile and a cross-section tapering from said rectangular cross-section to the cross-section of an extrusion slot, - an extrusion slot (11) of rectangular cross-section and - an expansion control slot (12) of wider cross-section than the extrusion slot.
