An extrusion system includes a main extruder (1) and a secondary injection extruder (2). Both extruders are connected via a three-way valve (3). The main extruder (1) has a mixing section (5) downstream of the junction point (4) with the secondary injection extruder (2). An accelerated switch between molding masses with different colors can be made by switching the three way valve.
