A pair of goggles (10) comprises a goggles frame (12) with a pair of eyepiece holders (15, 16), a nosepiece (25) extending between inner end portions (18, 22) of the eyepiece holders, and a head strap (27) extending between outer end portions (19, 23) of the eyepiece holders. Each eyepiece holder has an opening with an eyepiece unit (51, 52) fitted therein, the eyepiece unit having an overall length less than length of the eyepiece opening to permit relative movement therebetween to vary interocular spacing between the eyepieces to accommodate persons having eyes at different spaces. Guides (75, 76, 111, 112; 93, 94, 117, 118) are provided at outer end portions and intermediate portions of the eyepiece units and eyepiece holders to ensure axial movement of the eyepiece units with respect to the eyepice holder with negligible rotation therebetween. A locator (140) is provided to limit relative movement between the eyepiece holder and eyepiece unit. The locator can be fitted between adjacent outer end portions of the eyepiece holder and eyepiece unit to prevent movement of the eyepiece unit relative to the eyepiece opening.

On prévoit des guides (75, 76, 111, 112; 93, 94, 117, 118) dans les portions terminales externes et les portions intermédiaires des verres et des cercles, pour permettre un mouvement axial des verres par rapport aux cercles en évitant toute rotation significative entre les deux. On prévoit un dispositif de blocage (140) pour limiter le mouvement relatif des cercles et des verres. Ce dispositif peut être installé entre des portions terminales externes adjacentes du cercle et du verre pour empêcher tout mouvement du verre par rapport à l'ouverture du cercle.
