An eyeglass assembly includes a primary frame having two side rim locks. Each of the rim locks includes an upper member and a lower member having an opening. Each of two magnets has an upper portion secured within a corresponding upper member and each magnet has a lower portion receivable, with clearance, in the opening of the lower member for allowing the lower portion to be disengaged from the lower member. An auxiliary frame includes two side extensions for overlying the rim locks, each extension having a magnet therein for securing the auxiliary frame to the primary frame.,
