A coil spring is held in a compressed state between a forward end side of an elastic member compartment of a temple and a working face of a cover. A plate spring which is folded in two is held in a concave part of the cover so that a side closer to a base end portion of the temple is open, with one of two open forward ends of the plate spring engaged with a step on a bottom surface of the elastic member compartment for preventing the cover from being slid toward the base end portion of the temple and slipping off. An outer end surface on a base end portion side of the cover is in contact with a forward end surface of a rim in a normal use position. The cover is pushed by the forward end surface of the rim when the temple is further spread beyond the normal use position, to be slid toward the forward end along a guide member of the temple while compressing the coil spring against its spring force.
L?invention concerne un ressort hélicoïdal qui est maintenu en compression entre l'extrémité avant du compartiment d'un élément élastique d'une branche et la face active d'un recouvrement. Un ressort à lames, plié en deux, est maintenu dans une partie concave du recouvrement de manière à ouvrir un côté plus proche de la base de la branche, l'une des deux extrémités avant ouvertes du ressort à lames étant en prise avec un cran sur la surface inférieure du compartiment de l'élément élastique pour empêcher le recouvrement de glisser vers la base de la branche et de s'en détacher. Une surface d'extrémité extérieure sur la base du recouvrement est en contact avec une surface d'extrémité avant d'un cercle en position d'utilisation normale. Le recouvrement est repoussé par la surface d'extrémité avant du cercle lorsque la branche s'écarte au-delà de sa position normale d'utilisation de manière à glisser vers l'extrémité avant le long d'un élément guide de la branche tout en comprimant le ressort hélicoïdal contre sa force de tension.
