An eyesight and hearing safety apparatus (20) for use by a human being. The apparatus comprises a front guard portion (22) including a front transparent panel for protecting the eyesight of the human being. The apparatus further comprises a first and a second earplug (38 and 40) for protecting the hearing of the human being. The apparatus further comprises a first temple having a first attachment end and a first support end. The first attachment end is hingedly attached to one end of the front guard portion. The first earplug is attached to the first temple adjacent the first support end. The first temple and the first earplug support the front guard portion from a respective auditory canal when the human being is wearing the apparatus. The apparatus further comprises a second temple having a second attachment end and a second support end. The second attachment end is hingedly attached to the other end of the front guard portion. The second earplug is attached to the second temple adjacent the second support end. The second temple and the second earplug support the front guard portion from a respective auditory canal when the human being is wearing the apparatus. The first and second temples may be adjustable to horizontally and vertically position the respective earplug for comfortable insertion into the respective auditory canal of the human being.
L'invention concerne un appareil de sécurité pour la vue et l'ouïe (20), destiné à être utilisé par un humain. Cet appareil est constitué d'une partie avant protectrice (22), comprenant un panneau avant transparent conçu pour protéger la vue de l'utilisateur. Cet appareil est en outre constitué d'un premier et d'un second bouche-oreilles (38 et 40), destinés à protéger l'ouïe dudit utilisateur, et comprend également une première branche pourvue d'une première extrémité de fixation et d'une première extrémité de support, ladite première extrémité de fixation étant reliée de manière articulée à l'une des extrémités de ladite partie avant protectrice. Le premier bouche-oreilles est fixé à ladite première branche à proximité de ladite première extrémité de support, la première branche et le premier bouche-oreilles soutenant, depuis l'un des conduits auditifs, ladite partie avant protectrice lorsque l'utilisateur porte l'appareil. Le second bouche-oreilles est relié à la seconde branche à proximité de ladite seconde extrémité de support, la seconde branche et le second bouche-oreilles soutenant, depuis l'autre conduit auditif, ladite partie avant protectrice lorsque ledit utilisateur porte l'appareil. Les première et seconde branches peuvent être réglées en position horizontale et verticale par rapport au bouche-oreilles, afin de permettre une insertion confortable dans les conduits auditifs respectifs dudit utilisateur.
