"In an accessory for lifting hot plates from the various baking sources containing food substances and as a culinary help tool it is known to have a constraining rim which allows a picked-up object from sliding in and out while in motion. Attached to this rim is a bottom supporting tray which prevents the hot objects from falling through. Also attached to the retaining rim is a spring type handle that allows desired pressure to the application of the design, according to the weight of the object lifted. The gauge of the spring steel used in the design can vary according to various needs depending on the domestic or on the commercial applications. The handle may contain a sliding lock hook to secure the design around the object being lifted."
