A drying rack for hang drying clothing or other articles is suspended in a bathtub or shower enclosure with a first end resting on the shower curtain rail or shower door support channel and a second end resting against the enclosure inner wall. The first end has concave surfaces so that the shower curtain rail or shower door channel provides support against both downward and outward movement. The length of the drying rack is greater than the distance between the shower curtain rail or shower door channel and the wall, so that the rack slopes upwardly and inwardly and so that the second end in use is positioned above the first end and rests against the wall. Multiples of said drying racks are stackable for vertical drying completely within tub enclosure and shower stalls. Multiples of drying racks due to all plastic construction may be utilized to assist in the upward growth process for herbs and vine climbing plants. Single racks may be used in automobiles to assist in drying damp garments such as bathing suits, towels, socks, etc.
